Technology for safety and public good

We build technology that illuminates the corners all too often left in the dark.

What we do

Our mission is to close the distance between seen and dealt with: use technology and AI to make prevention and speaking up easy, keep the final judgement human, and turn what people notice into records organisations can act on and stand behind.

The failure is almost always the same: someone saw it, nothing recorded it, nobody acted. Whether it's an unguarded edge on a worksite or a hate symbol on a bus stop, we build systems that break that pattern.

How we work

Action over paperwork

A record of forms is not a record of safety. Everything we build exists to get something fixed, and to show it was.

People decide

AI assists. It never makes a safety decision, and it never adjudicates. The judgement, and the responsibility, stay human.

Privacy is trust infrastructure

Confidential means confidential, or nobody reports. We treat privacy as the foundation the rest only works on top of.

Small team, details right

Accessibility, provenance, and honesty about uncertainty are features. We would rather do less, correctly.

What we build

Different at the surface, identical underneath: something seen, something recorded, something done. That's the shape of every Northlight project.

Pharos

Safety management with a defensible record: confidential hazard reporting, AI-assisted review with humans deciding, and closed-loop control tracking.
